Community meetup on March 10, 2026 at 17:00 CET.

After the strong interest in our recent overview of the TEI-Publisher 10 release, the e-editiones team is happy to invite you to a follow-up community session designed to support users through the next step: upgrading from older versions to TEI-Publisher 10.

In the first event we introduced the new features, enhancements, and overall vision behind version 10. If you haven’t seen that yet, take a look here:

Now it’s time to talk about practical implementation. During this community event we’ll walk through:

  • Why and when to update - We’ll talk about the key benefits of moving to version 10 and how to assess whether your current installation is ready for an upgrade.
  • Upgrade process - You’ll get a guide through the workflow from a legacy version to TEI-Publisher 10 — with explanations of what changes to expect and how to manage them.
  • Caveats and pitfalls - Updating core tooling can be tricky. We’ll highlight specific areas where issues commonly arise so you can plan ahead and avoid surprises.
  • Advanced topics (time permitting) - If the session allows, we’ll touch on more advanced workflows such as templating in TEI-Publisher 10 — and how the new version changes or improves existing approaches.

Who Should Attend? This session is for:

  • Developers and digital editors currently using TEI-Publisher
  • Teams planning to migrate to version 10
  • Anyone who wants hands-on insight into the update to TEI-Publisher 10 process
  • Community members interested in deeper workflows and best practices

Join Us! Bring your questions — and your upgrade plans! We look forward to a lively, practical discussion.
